As we talked about Hunza before, about the Altit andBaltit Fort, what they had to offer to the visiter’s there this time I’ll get in the details of the Karakoram range mountain peak’s. Hunza is one of the most exotic places in Pakistan.
Several high peaks rise above 6000m in the surrounding of Hunza valley. The valley provides spectacular views of some of the most beautiful and magnificent mountains of the world which include Rakaposhi7788m, Ultar Sar 7388, Bojahagar Duanasir-II 7329m, Ghenta Peak 7090m, Hunza Peak 6720, Darmiyani peak 6090m, Lady finger 6000m.
The beauty of this mountain range is matchless from the soft blossom’s of the apricot trees to the dark snow capped rockymountain’s of Rakaposhi.
Most of these mountain’s can be viewed from Duikar,Karimabadpopularly known as “Eagle Nest view point”. Duikar(Eagle Nest) is about 30 minutes by jeep, from Karimabad Hunza.
You get to see the whole of the ValleyView which is truly beautiful and pleasurable to the eye. You can also view the lavishing Hunza River along the Altit village, and look up front towards the Rakaposhi, Golden peak and Lady finger. The total view literally takes your breath away for a moment.
People mostly visit Duikar(Eagle Nest) in morning or evening times to see the splendiferous sunrise and sunset. The gratifying moment when you see the sun set on the golden peak, leaves you speechless. It puts away all the fuss from your mind and the feeling of satisfaction indulges.
To capture the aesthetic moment your eyes are enough but all else you need is a camera to save it as a memory.
And please make sure if you bring eatables with you, do not throw the wastage up there. My last visit there was a little disappointing because most of the people being careless and contaminating the beautiful place.
